    Match a pattern

    Keep the text that matches a pattern, where * stands for any text.

    name=like.*rentname=ilike.g*

    like respects case, ilike ignores it. * matches any run of characters, including none, so *a* means "contains an a".

    Patterns apply to text columns only. On a number, like answers bad_operator.

    Examples

    Every todo whose name contains an a.
    /todos?select=name&name=like.*a*&order=name

    Asking the database...

    Names starting with g or G.
    /users?select=name&name=ilike.g*

    Asking the database...

    An estimate is a number, not text.
    /todos?select=name&estimate=like.1*
